Jaroslav Knotek

Jaroslav Knotek (born June 29, 1912 in Žichovice , † March 18, 1996 in Ústí nad Labem ) was a Czechoslovak hammer and discus thrower .

In the hammer throw he was at the European Athletics Championships in Turin in 1934 eleventh and was eliminated from the qualification at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin.

At the European Championships in Oslo in 1946 , he was eighth in the hammer throw and did not get past the first round in the discus throw. In 1947 he won the hammer throw at the World Festival of Youth and Students and failed in qualifying at the Olympic Games in London in 1948 .
