The men's 1,500-meter run at the 1946 European Athletics Championships was held on August 24 and 25, 1946 in the Bislett Stadium in the Norwegian capital, Oslo .

There was a Swedish double victory: Lennart Strand became European champion . He won ahead of Henry Eriksson . Bronze went to the Dane Erik Jørgensen .
