Jan Staniszewski ( May 18, 1913 - July 23, 1994 ) was a Polish middle-distance runner .

At the European Athletics Championships in 1938 in Paris he was sixth over 1500 m , and in Oslo in 1946 he was eliminated over 800 m and over 1500 m in the prelim.

In 1938 and 1939 he was the 800 m and 1500 m Polish champion respectively.

He set his personal best over 1500 m of 3: 54.2 minutes on August 9, 1938 in Oslo .
