Douglas Wilson (athlete)
Douglas Gordon "Doug" Wilson (born January 28, 1920 in Islington , † October 18, 2010 in Winchester ) was a British middle-distance runner .
Over 1500 m he was sixth at the European Athletics Championships in Oslo in 1946 and retired from the 1948 Olympic Games in London in the preliminary run.
In 1946 he became English champion in the mile run .
