Andreas Pohle
Andreas Pohle (born April 6, 1981 in Erfurt ) is a German triple jumper . He starts for ASV Erfurt. His trainer is Annelie Jürgens.
He is currently one of the best three jumpers in Germany. In 2006 he won the German Championships in Ulm. There he jumped 16.97 m. He was the only German triple jumper who surpassed the qualification standard for the European Championships in Gothenburg. Due to strong fluctuations in performance during the season, however, the DLV removed him from the squad for the European Championships. At the meeting in Leverkusen, for example, he only jumped a distance of 16.11 m.
He achieved his best distance in 2004 when he jumped 16.99 m at the German Championships. In the long jump his best mark is 7.97 m (2002).
Andreas Pohle is 1.78 m tall and weighs 65 kg.
The 2004 Olympian was in the German Federal Armed Forces.
