Christian Nicolay
Christian Nicolay (born March 4, 1976 in Bassenheim ) is a German javelin thrower . He has been working for TV Wattenscheid 01 since 1998 . His trainer is Peter Lieser.
In 2006 he became the German javelin thrower at the German Championships in Ulm .
His best performance was in 2003. He threw 84.54 m. That year he was sixth at the World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis with 81.77 m.
Nicolay is 1.88 m tall and weighs 102 kg. He ended his career in 2010 and now works in Koblenz for an insurance company, Debeka. He also works as a trainer, among other things he trains the discus thrower Philipp Müller.
