NGC 7746 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 312 million light years from the Milky Way and about 130,000 light years across. 
The galaxies IC 5351 , IC 5352 , IC 5356 , IC 5357 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on September 7, 1886 .
