NGC 7739 is an elliptical galaxy from the Hubble-type E2 in the constellation fish on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 302 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 100,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky is the galaxy NGC 7738 .
The property was discovered by Gaspare Stanislao Ferrari in 1865 .
