NGC 7741 is a bar-spiral galaxy with extensive star formation regions of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Pegasus in the northern sky . It is an estimated 41 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 50,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 7735 and NGC 7745 .
The object was discovered on September 10, 1784 by the German-British astronomer William Herschel .
