NGC 7734 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBb in the constellation Toucan in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 467 million light years from the Milky Way and about 195,000 ly in diameter. Together with NGC 7733 , it forms an interacting pair of galaxies.
The object was discovered by John Herschel on November 2, 1834 .
