NGC 7711 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Pegasus in the northern sky . It is an estimated 189 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 140,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7691 , NGC 7703 , NGC 7722 .
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on October 14, 1784 .
