NGC 7701 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sb in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 243 million light years from the Milky Way and about 115,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7699 , NGC 7700 , NGC 7710 , IC 1501 .
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on September 20, 1784 .
