NGC 7696 is a spiral galaxy from the Hubble type S in the constellation fish on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 260 million light years from the Milky Way and about 100,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 1500 , NGC 7704 , NGC 7705 , NGC 7706 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on November 14, 1863 .
