NGC 7672 is a spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type Sb in the constellation Pegasus in the northern sky . It is an estimated 186 million light years from the Milky Way and about 45,000 light years across. Possibly it forms a gravitationally bound galaxy pair with NGC 7671 .
The object was discovered by RJ Mitchell on October 23, 1857 .
