NGC 7660 is an elliptical galaxy from the Hubble-type E2 in Pegasus at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 263 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 105,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by John Herschel on September 5, 1828 .
