Andrea Rüfenacht

Andrea Rüfenacht (born February 20, 1967 ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Andrea Rüfenacht has a doctorate in biochemistry and works as head of microbiological research. She is single, has one child and lives in Burgdorf .

politics

Andrea Rüfenacht was a member of the city council (legislature) of Burgdorf and president of the SP parliamentary group. In 2017, after Andrea Lüthi's resignation, she moved to the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern and was re-elected in the 2018 elections. From 2017 to 2018 she was a substitute member of the building, energy, transport and spatial planning commission and has been a member of the finance commission since 2018.

Rüfenacht is President of Pro Velo Emmental , member of the executive board of the Bern section of the VCS and member of the Burgdorf High School Commission .
