NGC 7706 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 258 million light years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7696 , NGC 7704 , NGC 7705 , IC 1500 .
The object was discovered by John Herschel on October 16, 1827 .
