Gaspare Stanislao Ferrari
Gaspare Stanislao Ferrari (born October 23, 1834 in Bologna , † June 20, 1903 in Paris ) was an Italian mathematician , astronomer and Jesuit .
At the age of 15 he joined the Jesuit order. From 1865 he worked at the Collegio Romano in Rome , where he observed numerous NGC objects . At that time the Collegio Romano was directed by Angelo Secchi .
