IC 5351 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is around 288 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 40,000 light years . 
The galaxies IC 5352 , IC 5356 , IC 5357 , IC 5359 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Edward Barnard on October 28, 1889 .
