IC 5350 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Sculptor in the southern sky . It is about 383 million light years away from the Milky Way and is about 100,000 light years in diameter .

The object was discovered in 1896 by the American astronomer Lewis A. Swift .
