IC 5334 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sab in the constellation Aquarius on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 103 million light years from the Milky Way and about 55,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy IC 1498 .
The object was discovered on December 14, 1894 by Herbert Alonzo Howe .
