IC 5319 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E0 with an active galaxy core in the constellation Pegasus on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 550 million light years from the Milky Way and about 50,000 light years in diameter. Presumably it forms a gravitationally bound galaxy pair together with PGC 1445623 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7649 , NGC 7651 , NGC 7659 .
The object was discovered on November 25, 1899 by Herbert Alonzo Howe .
