IC 5305 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Pegasus at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 476 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 55,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 7594 , NGC 7595 , IC 5306 , IC 5307 .
The object was discovered by Hermann Kobold on October 26, 1897 .
