IC 5293 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Pegasus at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 358 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 40,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky there are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7548 , IC 5295 , IC 5296 , IC 5297 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on November 22, 1899 .
