IC 5282 is a faint spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sa in the constellation Pegasus in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 272 million light years from the Milky Way and about 110,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on November 23, 1897 .
