IC 5280 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sab in the constellation Toucan on southern sky . It is an estimated 369 million light years from the Milky Way and about 155,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy IC 5277 .
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on August 29, 1900 .
