IC 5264 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sab in the constellation Crane on southern sky . It is estimated to be 87 million light years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxies NGC 7418 , IC 1459 , IC 5269 , IC 5270 are located in the same area of the sky .
Together with IC 5269 and PGC 70075 it forms the IC 5264 group or LGG 465 .
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on June 10, 1896 .
