Adriana Almeida (born June 28, 2001 ) is a Cape Verdean sprinter .

Athletic career

Adriana Almeida gained her first international experience at the African Youth Games in Algiers in 2018 , where she finished fifth in the 200-meter run in 24.97 s and sixth over 100 meters in 12.30 s. So she qualified for the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires , where she was disqualified in the final. In the year she was fourth in the 100 meter run with a new national record of 12.12 s at the Junior African Championships in Abidjan . She also set a new national record over 200 meters in the run-up and was eighth in the final with 25.02 seconds.
