IC 5245 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble-type S0 / aim constellation Toucan in the southern sky . It is an estimated 142 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 35,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7358 , IC 5246 , IC 5247 , IC 5250 .

The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on August 21, 1900 .
