Patricia Nolz

Patricia Nolz (* 1995 in Lower Austria ) is an Austrian singer ( mezzo-soprano ).

Career

Patricia Nolz received her first classical singing lessons at the age of 17 at the Conservatory for Church Music in St. Pölten. From 2014 she completed a preparatory course for singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and then began a bachelor's degree in solo singing with Claudia Visca , which she graduated with honors in 2019. In the same year she began studying song and oratorio with Florian Boesch and singing with Claudia Visca.

Nolz made his debut in 2016 at the Schlosstheater Schönbrunn as Hansel in E. Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel under the musical direction of Michael Rot . In May 2018 she made her debut as Bradamante in GF Handel's Alcina at the Solingen theater and concert hall. She also performed in Austria, Israel, Luxembourg, Italy and Japan.

  • 2017: 2nd prize at the International Osaka Music Competition in Japan
  • 2019: 2nd prize and audience prize at the Friends of the Vienna State Opera competition
  • 2019: Casinos Austria Rising Star Award
