The Udava is a 38.3 km long river in eastern Slovakia and a tributary of the Laborec .

It rises in the Bukovské vrchy mountains in the Udava nature reserve near Osadné , near the state border with Poland , at an altitude of approx. 690  m nm and initially flows to the southwest. After Osadné the river turns west and is now in the Labortzer Bergland . Between Nižná Jablonka and Papín the river changes direction to the south. In Adidovce the Udava reaches the Ondauer mountains , continually corrects its flow path and opens at the west Udavské in the Laborec.
