Udavské (Hungarian Udva ) is a municipality in the Okres Humenné within the Prešovský kraj in Slovakia with about 1200 inhabitants.

The place is located at the confluence of the river Udava coming from the northeast and Laborec coming from the north , between the mountain ranges of the Ondavská vrchovina in the west and the Laborecká vrchovina in the north and east and is located seven kilometers northeast of Humenné and 38 kilometers south of Medzilaborce . The place is one kilometer off the national road 559, which connects Humenné with Medzilaborce and has a train station on the Michaľany – Medzilaborce mesto – Łupków railway line .

The place was first mentioned in writing as Vadna in 1317 . For a long time the story has been linked to the Drugeth family and their mansion in Humenné. In the 17th century, the family had a baroque country palace built in the village. After the male line of Drugeths died out, both the place and the country castle changed hands: Counts Csáky, Zichy and finally Szirmay. Today the country castle is in a decaying state.

Udavské is the birthplace of Jozef Tomko , a cardinal emeritus, and Anton Špiesz , a Slovak historian.
