Zbudské Dlhé (until 1927 Slovak and "Dlhé"; Hungarian Laborcmező - until 1907 Izbugyahosszúmező ) is a municipality in the east of Slovakia with 761 inhabitants (December 31, 2019), which for Okres Humenné of, a circle kraj Prešovský heard. Rather, it is part of the traditional Zemplín landscape .
geography
The municipality is located in the southern part of the Low Beskydy Mountains in the Laborec valley . The center of the village is at an altitude of 212 m nm and is 18 kilometers from Humenné .
Neighboring municipalities are Hrabovec nad Laborcom and Brestov nad Laborcom in the north, Rokytov pri Humennom in the northeast, Jabloň in the east and southeast, Koškovce in the south and southwest and again Hrabovec nad Laborcom in the west.
history
The place was first mentioned in writing in 1414 as Hozumezew . Until the 16th century, part of the Izbugyai family belonged to other members of the lower nobility, but other parts belonged to other members of the lower nobility, so there were three localities at that time. In 1828 there were 37 houses and 280 inhabitants who were employed as shepherds, woodcutters and charcoal burners.
Until 1918/1919, the place in Semplin County belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary and then came to Czechoslovakia or now Slovakia.
population
According to the 2011 census, Zbudské Dlhé had 661 inhabitants, including 389 Roma , 265 Slovaks , four Russians and one Czech and one Ukrainian each . One resident gave no information about ethnicity .
645 residents supported the Roman Catholic Church, five residents the Greek Catholic Church and two residents the Orthodox Church. Two residents were without a denomination and the denomination was not determined for seven residents.
