NGC 7548 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type SB0 in the constellation Pegasus in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 365 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 115,000 light-years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 5293 , IC 5295 , IC 5296 , IC 5297 .
The object was discovered on September 30, 1861 by Heinrich Louis d'Arrest .
