NGC 7547 is a lens-shaped galaxy of the Hubble-type SAB0 / a in the constellation Pegasus. It is an estimated 221 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter. Together with NGC 7549 , NGC 7550 , NGC 7553 and NGC 7558 , it forms the galaxy group HCG 93 .
The object was discovered by John Herschel on August 26, 1827 .
