IC 5341 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Pegasus in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 490 million light years from the Milky Way and about 40,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7720 , NGC 7726 , NGC 7728 , IC 5342 .
The object was discovered by Herbert Alonzo Howe on November 27, 1899 .
