The 400-meter hurdles for women in the 2010 European Athletics Championships was held from 27 to 30 July 2010 at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys the city of Barcelona held.
The European champion was the Russian Natalja Antjuch . She won ahead of Bulgarian Vanya Stambolowa . Bronze went to the British Perri Shakes-Drayton .

Record improvement
European champion Natalja Antjuch improved the existing EM record in the final on July 30th by four tenths of a second to 52.92 seconds.
