Natalja Nikolajewna Iwanowa (athlete)

Natalja Nikolajewna Iwanowa ( Russian Наталья Николаевна Иванова , English transcription Natalya Ivanova ; born June 25, 1981 in Moscow ) is a Russian hurdler and sprinter .

In 2002 she was fourth in the 400-meter run at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Vienna .

At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, she was used in the run-up to the 4 x 400 meter relay and thus contributed to the silver medal of the Russian team.

At the European Championships in 2006 she was fifth in the 400-meter hurdles and won the gold medal in the 4-by-400-meter relay with the Russian team. The following year relay silver followed at the European Indoor Championships in Birmingham . At the World Athletics Championships in 2007 in Berlin , she reached the semifinals over 400 m hurdles. In 2010 she was seventh in the same discipline at the European Championships in Barcelona .

Natalja Ivanova is 1.83 m tall and weighs 68 kg. She belongs to the Russian Army .
