Patrycja Wyciszkiewicz (born January 8, 1994 in Śrem ) is a Polish sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

In 2011 Patrycja Wyciszkiewicz took part in the World Youth Championships in Lille . While she narrowly missed the finals as ninth in the semi-finals over 400 meters, she secured seventh place with the sprint relay. At the European Junior Championships a few weeks later, she won the silver medal with the 4 x 400 meter relay. In 2012 she again failed to qualify for the 400 meter final at the U20 World Championships . With the Polish season, however, she reached seventh place again. She had a place in the Olympic relay, but the Polish team was eliminated in the preliminary round.

In 2013 she won two gold medals at the Junior European Championships in Rieti , over 400 meters and with the relay. At the 2013 World Championships in Moscow , she was eliminated with the Polish team in the run-up to the 4 x 400 meter relay . In 2014 she came fourth with the Polish relay at the World Indoor Championships in Sopot . At the European Championships in Zurich , she was eliminated in the individual competition in the preliminary round and took fifth place in the 4 x 400 meter relay.

In 2015 she again won two medals at the U23 European Championships in Tallinn . Bronze over 400 meters and silver with the Polish relay. At the World Championships in Beijing, she did not get past the first round both over 400 meters and in the 4 x 400 meter relay . At the European Championships in 2016 , she made it to the semi-finals in the individual discipline and just missed a medal as fourth in the relay. At the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro she was eliminated in the semi-finals over 400 meters and reached seventh place in the final with the relay .

In 2017 she took part in the European Indoor Championships and won the gold medal with the relay. At the World Student Games in Taipei , she won the gold medal with the Polish team.
