Julia Yushchanka

Juljana Yushchanka ( Belarusian Юльяна Юшчанка , English transcription Yulyana Yushchanka , born Жалнярук - Schalnjaruk - Zhalniaruk ; * August 14, 1984 ) is a former Belarusian sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

She had her greatest successes so far in the 4 x 400 meter relay . In 2006 she won bronze with the Belarusian team at the World Indoor Championships in Moscow and silver at the European Championships in Gothenburg . In 2007 a gold medal followed at the European Indoor Championships in Birmingham and a fifth place at the World Championships in Osaka .

At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008, Yushchanka was used in the preliminary run. Without their participation, the Belarusian quartet came fourth in the final.
