Jelena Sergejewna Migunowa ( Russian Елена Сергеевна Мигунова ; born January 4, 1984 in Kazan , Soviet Union ) is a Russian athlete .

Life

Migunowa has been part of the extended Russian top since 2005, when she improved her best time in the 400-meter run to 50.93 seconds. At the Summer Universiade 2005 in Izmir she finished fifth in the individual competition in 53.21 seconds; she ran the second round of the stadium for the Russian 4-by-400-meter relay , which won the Universiade in 3: 27.47 minutes.

In 2008 Migunowa improved to 50.59 seconds. At the Olympic Games in 2008 , she won the first run in the Russian relay team in 3: 23.71 minutes. Migunowa was not used in the final; as her teammates took second place behind the US relay in the final, Migunova also received the Olympic silver medal for her preliminary use.

Migunowa starts for Dynamo Kazan . At a height of 1.68 meters, her competition weight is 58 kilograms.
