Irina Nikolajewna Rossichina ( Russian Ирина Николаевна Росихина , English transcription Irina Rosikhina ; born May 11, 1975 in Kamensk-Schachtinski ) is a Russian sprinter whose specialty is the 400-meter run .
Rossichina celebrated her greatest sporting success at the 2001 World Athletics Championships in Edmonton: Together with Julija Nossova , Anastassija Kapatschinskaja and Olesja Sykina , she won the bronze medal in the 4-by-400-meter relay behind the teams in 3: 24.92 minutes from Jamaica (3: 20.65 min) and Germany (3: 21.97 min).
At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Ghent in 2000 , Rossichina won the title with the 4-by-400-meter relay and the bronze medal in the individual 400-meter run.
