Janin Lindenberg

Janin Lindenberg , married Janin March , (born January 20, 1987 in Berlin ) is a former German 400-meter runner who ended her sporting career in mid-2015. She married in September 2015 and has been called March since then.
Life
Janin Lindenberg started for SC Magdeburg after working for LG Nike Berlin until 2009 . The middle distance runner was also active in the long jump , but had to give up her former favorite discipline after two fatigue breaks in her foot. At the U20 European Championships in 2005, she won silver with the 4 x 400 meter relay . At the Junior World Championships a year later, she reached sixth place with the relay. After she ran the 400 meters in 52.98 s on July 6, 2008 in Nuremberg , she was nominated for the German 4 x 400 meter relay at the Olympic Games in Beijing . However, it was not used there.
In 2010 she won her first German championship title over 400 meters. In the same year she reached second place in the relay with Fabienne Kohlmann , Esther Cremer and Claudia Hoffmann at the European Championships in Barcelona over the 4 x 400 meters. Since the Russian gold relay was later disqualified for doping, the German runners were subsequently declared European champions. At the ISTAF in Berlin on August 22, 2010, she set a new personal best with 52.20 seconds. At the European Indoor Championships in 2011 , she came fifth in the individual and with the relay. In 2012 Lindenberg became German runner-up over 400 meters.
Janin Lindenberg completed an apprenticeship with the federal police and works there in the investigation service.
