Christiane Marquardt

Christiane Marquardt (born November 13, 1958 in Berlin ) is a German athlete who - starting for the GDR - won the gold medal at the 1978 European Championships in the GDR's 4 x 400 meter relay (3: 21.2 min , together with Barbara Krug , Marita Koch and Christina Brehmer ). In the 400-meter run of these European Championships, she was fifth (51.99 s). In the same year she was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze.

Marquardt started for TSC Berlin . In her active days she was 1.71 m tall and weighed 55 kg.
