Uta Rohländer

Uta Rohländer , married Fromm (born June 30, 1969 in Merseburg ) is a former German athlete and Olympic medalist who was among the world's best in the 400-meter race in the 1990s . Her greatest achievement is the victory in the 4 x 400 meter relay at the 1997 World Championships . In 1996 she won Olympic bronze with the 4 x 400 meter relay.

Successes in detail

Uta Rohländer started for SV Halle and trained with Harald Werner. In her active days she was 1.73 m tall and weighed 60 kg. During her sports career, she first studied sport and biology and passed the state examination. She then graduated as a qualified physiotherapist (thesis: treadmill analyzes with diabetes patients ). She was married to Alexander Fromm, with whom she has a daughter. Fromm is the son of the 800 meter European champion from 1969, Dieter Fromm .
