Jessica Beard (born January 8, 1989 in Euclid , Ohio ) is an American sprinter .

At the Junior World Championships in Beijing in 2006 , she finished fifth in the 400-meter run and won the 4-by-400-meter relay . At the Junior World Championships in 2008 in Bydgoszcz , she won the silver medal over 400 meters and managed to defend her title with the relay.

Her first international assignment in the adult sector came at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin . She was a member of the US 4 x 400 meter relay, which won the gold medal. Beard himself was only used in the qualifying round. In the 400-meter run she reached the semi-finals in Berlin.

Jessica Beard starts at Texas A&M University and is studying psychology there.
