Camara Jones
Camara Jones (married Banfield ) is a former American sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
The highlight of her career was winning the gold medal in the 4 x 400 meter relay at the 1995 World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg . Together with Kim Graham , Rochelle Stevens and Jearl Miles Clark , she relegated the teams of Russia (3: 23.98 min) and Australia (3: 25.88 min) to the places in 3: 22.29 min . Attendance at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta missed Jones because of her then-husband, a child vaulter Tony Barton , expected.
Camara Jones studied law at the University of Oregon . The mother of three children lives in Vancouver , Washington state, and has been working for the local district attorney's office since 2003.
