Lorraine Fenton (born Graham ; born September 8, 1973 in Manchester ) is a former Jamaican athlete whose main discipline was the 400-meter run .

At the 1997 World Championships she won bronze in the 4 x 400 meter relay race , as well as at the 1999 World Championships in the individual discipline over 400 meters.

At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney , she won the 400 meter silver medal behind Cathy Freeman (AUS) and ahead of Katharine Merry (GBR) and came second with the relay behind the now disqualified US relay.

In 2001 she won, now starting under the name Fenton, at the World Championships in Edmonton together with Sandie Richards , Catherine Scott and Debbie-Ann Parris relay gold over 4 x 400 meters and silver in the individual competition. In 2002 she ran her personal best with 49.30 seconds. In the same year she was also the Jamaican champion in the 400 meters. At the 2003 World Championships , a silver medal in the individual and a bronze medal in the relay race followed. In 2004 a tendon injury prevented participation in the Olympics. In 2005 she won silver again with the relay at the World Championships in Helsinki before ending her career in 2006.

Fenton was named Jamaica's Sportswoman of the Year in 2000, along with Deon Hemmings , and in 2001 .
