biography

As the son of a British horror film director, filmmaking was already present in Hough's youth. At the age of eight he began to make amateur horror films in nearby cemeteries or parks , for the amusement of his friends . Trent Park Massacre was performed in his primary school but didn't get the desired laurels. He then went to the City of London School for boys and got involved in film clubs. He also started writing scripts at an early age.

He then moved to New York University Film School . One of his short films at the time called End of the Line (1996) had a striking resemblance to Don't hang up! (2003). Shortly before graduating from New York University, Hough worked on the Reverse Angle sports show for FOX . A guest was absent from one show and Paul Hough took on a friend from Troma who regularly played in gay theaters. Despite massive complaints, the episode turns out to be a hit.

A show called 3 AM , which was supposed to be about party blasts, was canceled at the last minute. Hough meets David MacLane, who hired him for the documentary Women of Wrestling . When he was recorded on this show, two children gave him a video with tough backyard wrestling actions. Hough's interest was piqued and he made his documentary Backyard: In Hell's Backyard on the subject. The documentary was created as an independent film with a small budget and a two-year production time. He also shot the music video Enemy for metal band Fozzy . The video shows a wheelchair user who “crawls” up to the roof of a skyscraper because the elevators are broken, only to then fall down from there.

Then it went quiet around Hough. In 2007 he made the short film The Angel . In 2012 he published The Human Race .
