The IAAF World U20 Athletics Championships (official name: IAAF World U20 Championships ), until November 2015 known as the Junior Athletics World Championships (official name: IAAF World Junior Championships in Athletics ), have been organized by the IAAF World Athletics Association every two years since 1986 . Eligible are athletes under 20 years of age ( U20 for short ).
